We are pleased to announce that the VII. National (with International Participation) Diabetic Foot Infections Symposium (UDAIS 2022) will be held by the Diabetic Foot Infections Working Group (DAİÇG) of the Turkish Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (KLİMİK) on October 12-15, 2022.
Increasing diabetes rates in our country as well as in the world cause the management of diabetic foot to gain increasing importance. The KLİMİK Association Diabetic Foot Infections Working Group was established in 2011 with the purposes of monitoring Diabetic Foot Infections, which is an important problem in Turkey, at the national level and developing policies regarding the problem. So far, with the participation of valuable national and international speakers, 6 interdisciplinary National Diabetic Foot Infections Symposium and 4 Applied Wound Care Course have been held with many participants.
The purpose of our symposium is to discuss and share scientific data on various aspects of the approach to cases with the team spirit of the disciplines responsible for the prevention and treatment of foot complications, which are preventable in diabetic patients. Thus, we believe that the Symposium will provide an opportunity for all healthcare professionals, who play a role in the management of these patients, to share experiences on knowledge and approaches that will contribute to Daily practices.
As in previous UDAIS, we welcome all healthcare professionals to our symposium organized with the support of relevant associations in our country and around the world, that is rich in scientific content, presentations, and experience of experts in our country and around the world.
